Solva is possibly one of the prettiest old harbour villages in north Pembrokeshire and an ideal base from which to explore. Although a small village there are several pubs and restaurants within walking distance so you don’t need to go far in the evening. The coastal path passes within 100 metres and the pictures below were taken from the coast path above Solva.
St Davids with its cathedral and galleries is only 4 miles away by car or 2 hours walking along the coastal path with its stunning scenery, wild in the winter and carpeted with wild flowers in the spring . There are also several unspoilt beaches within easy reach if you just want to watch the sea and sit in the sun.
There are many excellent restaurants and galleries in the area.
For those in search of activity there is sailing, surfing, windsurfing, kite-surfing, horse-riding, island excursions for bird, seal and whale watching and a host of other spectacular pursuits in the vicinity.
